A child of taboo, Mika traveled from town to town searching for a place to rest her feet and call home. Children were supposed to be born from same species parents, anything else was forbidden. Such was the law across all the land. Mika had the unfortunate circumstance of being born to an elven father and a puma-human hybrid mother. Things were fine for her until the dawn of her 17th birthday when her parents were brutally beaten to death by the zealots in their village, people who believed that inter-specie breeding was heretic and angered their god. Mika never found out about their awful deaths and was simply ostracized, allowed to take nothing with her, not even the neccesities needed to travel. And thus she starts her travels across plains, forests, and valleys, wishing, hoping she'd find a place where she was welcome. A place where a person's first words were not "Get out" but instead, "Welcome".
